Plano City Council Preview - March 30, 2020 (Virtual on Plano TV)

Tomorrow, amid the Coronavirus pandemic, Plano will conduct our first ever virtual council meeting at the usual time on Plano TV. While all council members will be joining by video from home, I'm pretty sure nobody will be in their pajamas. But who knows? Tune in to find out!

  • Economic Development Incentive Agreement with Enseo, Inc.

  • A memorandum of understanding between the City of Plano and the Plano Housing Authority regarding the use of HUD voucher program

  • Appointment of Chief Municipal Judge and Associate Judges

  • Update Building Inspection Fee schedule to exempt fees to other governmental entities

  • Issuance of General Obligation Bonds for approximately $81,265,000, to be repaid over a 20-year term, and used for street, park, recreation center, public infrastructure, library facilities and municipal facilities improvement projects as planned in the 2019-20 Community Investment Program. These bonds were approved in 2013, 2017, and 2019 bond referendums

  • Issuance of General Obligation Bonds for approximately $13,980,000, to be repaid over a 12-year term, and used to refund outstanding debt at a lower interest rate (in other words, we're refinancing to save money)
