The Council Chambers are reopened to the public! Come one, come all!

Members of the public are entitled to participate in person or remotely via broadcast by webinar. For those wishing to speak in person, or attend and speak remotely, registration is required by 4:00 p.m. Monday at this link.   • Item (1): Zoning request for the North Texas Municipal Water District Rowlett Creek Plant. The applicant has requested to table, citing a desire to work on resolving some of the concerns of neighbors before the June 28th meeting

  • Item (2): Consideration of the princely sum of $22,980,671 for Collin Creek Culvert improvements


Notable Consent Agenda Items

(Total of $7,885,713 of your money in proposed expenses) Normally I only include notable items, but there are a ton of notable items this meeting.

  • Item (c): $1,334,500 for 100,000 square feet of concrete sidewalk repair (don't worry, it's not actually a giant square sidewalk)

  • Item (f) : Alley reconstruction along Campstone Drive, Nova Trail, Sailmaker Lane, Anchor Drive, Steven Drive, and Canoncita Lane

  • Item (g): $2,574,536 for replacement of ~12,700 linear feet of water lines, including valves, fire hydrants, etc., as well as replacement of non-compliant barrier free ramps at intersections, and along portions of streets and sidewalks at eleven locations

  • Item (j): $1,625,490 for five ambulances for Plano Fire-Rescue

  • Item (o): $512,120 for construction materials testing professional services for the Collin Creek Culvert improvement

  • Item (p) and Item (q) (mind your p's and q's): determine the costs of authorized improvements within the Collin Creek East and West Public Improvement Districts (PIDs), and noticing a Public Hearing for June 28, 2021 to consider an ordinance levying a tax on property located within each Collin Creek PID
